    2002 Polaris Genesis i bogging down and stalling after 30mins. HELP!!!

    Im hoping someone can help. It runs like a dream for about 30 mins on the water the it happens. Bogging down then picking back up, stalling and just feels like its dropping a cylinder or something. Ive changed the TPS and Voltage Regulator and Spark Plugs but none of this has worked. Anyone got any ideas of what to try after a compression test????

    Done a compression test and its 130 - 140 psi on all 3 cylinders on idle.

    Check fuel pressure alot of time fuel check valve falls off inside fuel tank

    I have found a small hose that looks like it could be the fuel check valve in near the fuel pump.
    Is this possibly it?
    and where does it go?

    He meant to say restrictor, not check valve.

    You probably found the vent and check valve coming off the top of the fuel tank. One's a simple intake check and the other is the vent that goes to the little rubber vents in front of the seat.

    The restrictor is part of the fuel pump assemply inside the tank. They usually fall off and allow too much fuel to pass through, dropping the fuel pressure to the injectors.

    There should be a tee with a schrader valve on the return fuel line coming from the injectors. Put a fuel pressure gauge on that and see what you get.

    The voice of reason here - why would that happen after 30 minutes of running? Wouldn't that issue arise as soon as you got on it?

    Could be a stator issue or the EMM overheating. Check the cooling lines going to the EMM and make sure they are clear. Also check the water intake screen on the right side of the jet pump and make sure its clear. Its located on the inside of the jet pump on the right as your looking at it from the rear and feed into the water tube on the right. After that, I would check you stator as follows.

    12 VOLT STATOR WINDING RESISTANCE
    (PINS: 1 AND 12 / 2 AND 11)
    0.1 - 0.3 Ω
    45 VOLT STATOR WINDING RESISTANCE
    (PINS: 3 AND 10 / 4 AND 9 / 5 AND 8 )
    0.3 - 0.5 Ω
    STATOR PINS: 1 -- 12 (EACH) TO GROUND O.L.
    STATOR CRANKING VOLTAGE (APPROXIMATE)
    CHARGE BATTERY TO 12.5VDC PRIOR TO TESTING.
    PINS:
    1 AND 12 7VAC
    2 AND 11 7VAC
    3 AND 10 5VAC
    4 AND 9 5VAC
    5 AND 8 5VAC
