is it possible to tap for an LC1 without removing the manifold? That seems like a lot of work...

It will not be necessary to monitor your afr. That's a tried and proven setup and people have been running it for years without monitoring fueling.

If you're worried about running lean find a good condition R&D powershot fuel tuner for around $200 - 250.00 & be done. I used it on my 06 RXP with an XS IC, X charger & Rotax high boost SC wheel, 4" intake, 13/18 3 blade & OEM 38's.. You can tune on the fly. I ran the WOT setting on level 3 setting. There are 7 or 8 levels I think..

When adding a fizzle and rrfpr? What's the point in not monitoring fueling? Potentially blowing up your motor just because you neglected to monitor Afrs. Cheap insurance IMO.
