2012 RXPX Reg. #'s
What are you guys using for your registration numbers on your new PX's? I've been looking around and can't find a matching day glo yellow vinyl anywhere, of course everyone has normal yellow, but no day glo. Anyone have a contact where I can get some made in day glo? I was thinking of doing possibly metallic silver/day glo layered over each other or do day glo/white like the rxt 260 decals. I need to find the day glo first to proceed.
My only other choice is to get them hand painted on....

A sign shop may be able to print day-glo yellow on white vinyl for you.

Sign shop should be able to cut it for you from coloured vinyl, they should have a colour chart to pick from.

I just picked metallic silver (to match the seat) in a "hollowed out" font so the letter isn't so pronounced. I've never liked making the license letters a styling element since they're just a functional sticker on the boat. The day glo has a lot of green in it and I doubt you will find a match.

I didn't think I'd get a match, those machines that can do mathcing and multiple colors are crazy money and don't know anyone around here that has one. I think I'm going to do a metallic silver with the outline in a font similar to the RXP font...

EDIT: Nice job, T-roy. That looks pretty sweet, too.

I'm just gonna call up to my buddy in PA that has a vinyl shop and have him do them up in silver vinyl and send them down to me. I'll ask him if he has any good ideas, I know he won't have the day glo vinyl so I think the silver would be a decent accent color, plus I can always change it out later if i find something nicer!
Troyheb-you cheated with the silver!!! Your PX is bad@ss looking, nice touches to make it stand out! I'll prolly end up doing a font like your just a random decent looking font with a bit of flair to it. I was thinking of doing flat black reg. stickers but I'm sure they'd frown upon that!!!

Sorry, just trying to help... but I did manage to find the link to the company that I placed my order through. I'm not sure how close their colors are to what you want, but it costs nothing to look around: http://www.signspecialist.com/letter...atnumbers.html
They do offer a fairly sizable selection for fonts as well - best of luck.
