Ultra 150 with Solas 16/20, how much gains?
I ride a 04 ultra with proks on stock carbs and shredmaster ride plate, how much gains would a solar 16/20 help for my ski? Would I get better all around performance (low, mid, and top) or just mid-top end performance?

You would get a better gain going with the modded stock prop from Skiworx. Your ski is still basically stock so you won't see much of a gain going with the Solas 16/20.

I have seen top end gains on stock motors with the solas 16/20. I run them on my stock 2000 and get 67-68 mph on gps. I do not know if it would be any better than a modded stock impeller. I also have one on my 2004 Ultra but that is a a stage 1 with modded carbs and higher compression. The ski does not run any faster than the 2000, but it is much quicker. You may want to talk to someone about running the pro k's with stock carbs and heads. I have heard that they tend to lean out and burn pistons over time.

I have heard stuff about the prok and lean issues. I took it to my local mechanic who does race skis and he told me I was safe. I am still trying to get info on whether or not a 16/20 is a good mod for a stock ski. Does it kill bottom or midrange and only help top end?
