    Trailer

In the process of buying a SLT750 w/out trailer. What to I need to look for in a trailer as far as length? Is it as simple as any trailer will work? Could move it with a pick-up, but really don't want to. Would rather not buy the trailer until I know what is completely wrong/right with the ski. All comments appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the hulk!

I bought both of my SLTs without a trailer. This gave me time to research, find, and negotiate what I wanted. You will likely want to build a dolly to work on the ski until you find a trailer.....

I am no authority on this, but Trailer weight capacity seems to be the driving factor in my opinion. The SLT 750 has a dry weight of 630 lbs, plus an 11 gallon gas tank. gas is around 6-7 lbs per gallon. I add 100 lbs for gas and gear for a total weight of around 730 lbs. I don't think you will have an issue with most trailers you will find, more so if you decide to go with two skis.....

You should be able to find a decent trailer in the $200-$300 range, depending on where you live.

    BlueFishCrisis,
Thanks for the response. Found a good trailer, but spent more than I wanted. Kept it under $300. If I need anything in the future will try to wait 'til the end of the season. Lesson learned.
