    2012 FX SHO Cruiser

Picked it up today at 4:30pm, was even able to get an hour in on it before dark. Definitely has a different ride and feel than the 2008-2011 FX SHO's. The lean in turning takes a bit of getting used to. Lake was pretty smooth this afternoon so I didn't get to test out the rough water capabilities.

Here are the first batch of pictures:

Congrats!"... good to hear you have ridden the older Sho and now you have a chance to give your opinion on the new Sho. That color looks so awesome, especially with the new body style.
When you say the lean in is different what do you mean? Is it awkward? Or is does seem to carve lower in the water, or doesn't turn as smooth as the old hull.

I thought it rode good. Nothing awkward about the ride, just handles differently than the 08-11 models. When making sharp turns the ski will lean more and the nose will stay lower to the water. There wasn’t too much out there in terms of rough water but for the wake I could find the ski seamed handle it a little bit better than my 09. Hoping to get a few more hours in before the end of the weekend. Spent the first hour out trying to break it in like I did my 09. Next time out I will be riding it harder.

Congrats on the new ski, looks awesome! its amazing how nimble this ski is for its size, my brother just got his this week and i put some riding time on it yesterday, ski handles like no other out there, will turn at any speed with ease, no stress on your arms, its amazing! Go the chance to put it through some rough stuff and I am very impressed, i owned 2 older fx sho's and this is a totally different ski all together. I can tell you guys if you think your fz's turned good, think again this ski will out turn it in a hurry. Enjoy! we got 4 hrs so far hope to get another 3 on it today and would love to get some gps numbers. Sorry to hijack thread just adding how great this new ski is.

Got out this afternoon. The wind was blowing pretty good (10-15, with gusts up to 20). The cove I put in at was fairly smooth but the channel was rough as hell. The ski handled the rough chop significantly better than my 09 SHO Cruiser. Was pleasantly surprised. At the end of the day I was able to get in a couple high speed runs. The ski ran 67.1 mph with 1/2 tank of gas at 2.1 hrs. Pretty sure that was about 1 mph faster than what my 09 ran after break-in. Pretty cool.

    Pics from today:
