    siemens 60 psi injectors

Upon installing some Siemens 60 psi injectors they would leak in my fuel rail.
I noticed the o rings on the top were a hair smaller in dia then the OEM and my bosche injectors. I put the OEM o rings on the Siemens and all was good.
I also noticed the orings on the Siemens had a small dimple on them in one spot.
Not exactly sure what the dimple is for.
Just wondering if anyone else has ran accross this issue?

I bought my injectors used so not sure when they were purchased.
It was an easy fix just wondering if anyone else has noticed the difference in o ring size.
It was not much but just enough to leak.

    NOTE:
I am running an aftermarket rail so it is possible that on OEM rail the smaller o rings dont leak.

How tight were your bosch injectors in your rail? mine in OEM rail are REAL tight.

    Pretty tight.
I like to put just a bit of dielectric grease on o ring to help install.

I was surprised that they leaked but once i removed them I could see the o rings were not as thick which made the install dia. a bit smaller.

Never had 60s or 80s leak. But I never bought used injectors either.

I will take pic of the oring with the dimple.
It is possible they were changed.
I bought them off person that ran them on 2010 PX boat last year so I assume they were fairly new.

I tried to take pics but hard to see difference.
The siemens oring has the notch in it.
The other is a oem oring.
The siemens is a bit taller but about .5 mm less in dia on calipers then the oem oring.

That dimple you see is from the clip mechanism or the inside of the stock rail assembly. I have seen it on my own ski taking Older injectors out.
