Hydro-dipping finish on SHO trim pieces
I've been freshening up the SHO & was planning to have my painter shoot these trim pieces gloss black but decided to try something different after seeing how it came out on my friend Gus' ski. I've never liked the chrome & had them done with a carbon fiber print. Basically he lays down color first(he used a light grey on mine), then applies the pattern film & clears over top, so it should be just as durable as paint. The pics don't do it justice & it looks more black in person. I think the side pieces will pop nicely against the silver top deck. I'm real happy with how it came out & his prices are VERY reasonable. What do you guys think?

I wonder if he could do the rear grab handle. Mines all faded...might be the same cost as buying a new one.

looks great mark, i was going to do the same thing to my VXS during down time....... like we have a down time in florida !!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats sweet mark. the guy did a great job on those pieces, i hate the chrome aswell..
