    2004 t ec 215 torque specs

    anyone know the torque specs on the oem rod bolts and main bolts?

    thanks thats a great link, however i didnt find the torque specs on there..
    Does anyone know theses specs?

    they are in there
    rods are 33ftlbs plus extra 90 turn no locktite

    The torque settings are in the manual.
    The connecting rods are:-
    Torque to 45Nm then finish to another 90 degrees with an angle torque wrench.
    Then the large bolts on the crankcase, (8 in the middle) torque to 40Nm then to 55Nm.
    The smaller bolts around the edge of the crankcase 22nm.

    The most torque specs bolts on 4tec engine is:


    • -engine head bolt + torque specs (40 NM (30 ft lb) + 120 ° + 90 °)

    • -connecting rod bolts + torque specs (45 NM + 90 °)

    • -crank case bolts +torque specs (40 NM and then come back and tighten to 55 NM)

    • -crank case outer bolts specs (24 NM)

    • -rocker shaft bolts +torque specs (20 NM +90°)

    • -Magneto bolts +torque specs (15 NM +50°)

    • Oil spray nozzle torque specs (18 NM )

    • Cam shaft bolts +torque specs (18 NM )
