Aquatrax FX12 throwing code for Knock sensor.. Help!!

I got a pretty good deal yesterday. I picked up a like new 02 Aquatrax FX12 turbo with 46 hours on it from a rich guy for $1500. The only problem is it throws a knock sensor code after 10 minutes of riding. You then have to reset it and you get another 10 minutes. Any ideas as to what could cause this? I'm hoping it's not rod bearings. Has this happened to anyone?

you can try a knock sensor but 75% of the time its the ECU thats bad!, try a knocksensor first if it still does it, you will need a ECU

This is correct. Being it is so much eaiser to change the ECU. I would change that first. I bet that is your problem. I fixed one last year. I think the ECU is about $350 for an 02.

Changed the Knock sensor and no go. We have 2 ski's with the same issue. The 05 is fully modified with everything that could be done by H20 Xtreme. One of the ECU's says Javier on it and we think it was swapped out when being repaired by H20 Extreme as this was a new ski and they were the only ones to work on it. Shady... I don't think Honda installs ECU's that say Javier written in a paint pen. Both throw code 25 so ECU's are the next purchase. Is this fairly common in the Aquatrax?
