how to remove battery from 2009 GTX iS

I am trying to remove the battery from my 2009 GTX ltd iS. Can someone please instruct me how to do it? Maybe the battery has a similar setup with a 2009 RXT iS 255. I do not have the shop manual to help me, so any help you give me will be appriciated.

It is under the right rear storage door...You need to remove the bucket under the deck. It has 2 black push pins holding the bucket in place...Then there are 2 13mm bolts holding the battery box to the bottom of the ski. Remove the battery cables first, then remove the little bracket that has the diagnostic connector on it...Just keep pushing, it will sound like something is breaking or cracking. Then remove the 2 13mm bolts and carefully remove the battery box with the battery in it. You will need to twist it slightly to get it out

Thank you tiny. I did remove the +ve and -ve battery cables as well as the diagnostic bracket. I also removed the 2 fuse boxes. But cannot remove the bracket that used to hold the fuse boxes, which is somehow connected to the battery box. Any ideas how to remove this bracket from the battery box?

There is a little lip right where the diagnostic connector sits..Just push on it away from the battery...Like I said before it will sound like something cracked or is broken when it releases...

I still have not managed to remove the battery. I pushed the lib where the diagnostic connector sits, away from the battery. It flexes out about 3cm but does not release. I think that if i push it harder the plastic will crack. Any ideas or pics to help me out? Its the 2009 GTX ltd iS

Thanks Tiny for your help. Just to make sure I am pushing in the right direction, on the picture I have in a red circle the point that I push. I push in a horizontal direction away from the battery. Is this correct?
