Questions about different Supercharger spring washer Positions and shims!

I was trying to reset the slip on my SC, but cannot get it to the desired number. What are the different spring washer positions can you do? So far i have

    )))()
    )()()
    )((()
    )()))

Also, I was wondering when you add shims. What is the maximum number of shims you can add? When adding the shim, does it have to be in the position in between 2 spring washers in this position. For example )shim(

This is the tightest way I have found. ))(() . As for shims you can put them between like you show and one between the L-nut and spring washer if needed.

I was trying to mess with my slip on a older shaft (06 shaft), and was wondering if I can mix-match Mcmaster washers with the OEM washer's? Brian had measured the dimensions of OEM vs. Mcmaster's but I want to make sure.
