    on the right track?

    just completing my setup atm
which consists of a seadoo 2004 rxp
    4" intake
    fizzle intercooler
    running et137 supercharger
    42lbs injectors
rising rate reg - or so it its meant to be - ebay link -http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110771661...ht_1230wt_1396
    standard fuel pump
    standard ecu
afr guage is - ebay link - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/300658934...84.m1497.l2649

now first attempt of doing a diy fuel reg was a nightmare.
    anyway all working well now
running idle fuel pressure of 58-60psi
this results in an afr of around 10.1 at idle, reallly rich

once the o2 sensor is removed afr guage goes straight to 22.4 - working as it should

im lead to believe the standard fuel pressure is around 58-60psi
and im running the 42lbs injectors which would standard to reason the rich ass idle

im not too sure if the reg is acutally a rising rate due to the fact of it being the same internally as a non rising rate which i brought by accident - yes i pulled them both apart, needed to rotate to boost pressure reference line and well the other one i brought by accident was sitting there and i thought what the hell lets see if i can see a difference, none that i could notice... which has me some what worried.

im considering buying this instead - http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.a...&PrdGrpID=5596

going away on the weekend and id really like to be able to get it all set up saturday morning and give it a good run saturday afternoon

if anyone can possible point out any errors or places where my setup or idea seem somewhat miss guided that would be great!

Have you had the ski on the water, or just idling on the trailer?

Where have you taken the reference line from? If you have used the TB lube port it can make it rich at idle as the reg will not see Vac and therefore NOT actually pull fuel.

nah ski is still on the trailer, hasnt seen water in like 7-8weeks! hopefully get it out this weekend before its way to cold and horrid
boost ref is from the bung on the standard intercooler block off.

what psi should i set it too at idle?
also if i was to free rev the engine to say 5k i should see the fuel pressure guage increase and add pressure correct due to the boost reference line?
despite there being no load the supercharger will produce boost

Don't bother, imo you need to get that thing on the water and set up your WOT. Then you will know where you are really at.

You can't tune it on the trailer, set the reg at 58-60 idle while in the water and see what you get. Be sure to let the engine warm up before reading the AFRs. Just keep an eye on the AFRs under boost.
