Taking My Ski To The Expo!

I stopped by Martins Custom Structures in Gloucester Virginia today to see how things were going on my new Yamaha FXHO's.
Everything is starting to shape up, Albert, Chad and I went over specifics on rod placement and navigation lights amongst other things.
Albert assured me that the first of my two skis will be done and ready to display in 48 hours. They have a lot of cutting and welding to do but I am confident it will be done.
Albert has also been working on a major project right around the corner from where I live and I finally went over to check it out. He not only works on pwc's and boats but can make anything that is bent or welded. I was impressed as I looked at the 500 linear feet of custom handrails that he just finished last weekend at the White House Cove Marina here in Poquoson Va. The rails are all hand welded aluminum done in a nautical fashion. A sight to see! I am always impressed. The Marina has been gutted and is being reborn with all new bulkheads floating slips and all new facilities. The new Surf Rider Restaurant is opening April 9th and I am sure my wife and I will come by jet ski for dinner and check it out.
I have been invited by Kevin Kirsh to display my newly rigged up pwc fishing machine at the Mid Atlantic Saltwater Fishing Expo, March 30-April 1st 2012 at The Show Place 3000 Mechanicsville Turnpike in Richmond. This will be a great event with something for everyone that is into saltwater fishing. I am looking forward to showing others how a pwc can be used for more than jumping wakes.
If you remember, I was selected to supply photos for a calender done by Multi- Print, a Hampton printing company. Well Cliff Hannah of Muti Print was kind enough to give me several hundred calenders to give away. I will probably be the only one at the show giving things away since this is my hobby and not a business for me. So if you have time this weekend come to Richmond, listen to some great speakers, stock up for the season and maybe get a free calender. Here are some pictures of my soon to be ready ski, some hand rails and my Multi Print give away.
