    slt750 drive shaft bearings

I have a slt750 which I just pulled the motor to fix a few things on. While pulling the shaft out I noticed a bit of rust where the bearings rest. Please take a look at this picture. Im assuming thats not normal. There are no bearings left in this. Can I just replace the bearings in there somehow or do I have to replace the whole thing?

They are called bearings, but the thru hull is nothing more than a bushing.

    They are replaceable.

You can get the rebuild kits through either Watcon or Randy at Weber. They are like $25 for the kit that includes new bushings and seals.

Is that that small ring inside on my picture? Otherwise where did that come from?
