RXP-X 08 pump tunnel spider cracks

    Hi everybody,

I have a friend with an 2008 RXP-X and he brought it last weekend for a ride. We noticed that in the pump tunnel there might be 4 spider cracks not deep but in the surface of the gelcoat. Can anybody points out how we can fix it?

Get a R&D grate on and throw the stock grate away. I have and many other PXs have these spider cracks they just need to look closer with a light at the right angle. I haven't done anything about them for over 140 hours. Don't worry about them as far as I am concerned. JMO

Huge very important problem and the tunnel needs to have pressure relieved one way or another. JP's suggestion of the R&D grate is a very good one!

The stock grate puts a lot pressure in the tunnel. The RIVA and WORX grates are between the R&D and stock grate tunnel pressure wise. The R&D is the lowest pressure and puts the less stress on the tunnel.
