    Oil catch can

    Hi I'm having to clean my intercooler out as its getting a sludge build up of oil and my rpm is dropping from 8460 to 8000 will an oil catch can stop this from happening

    How fast did you loose rpm? If it was over a long period of time I say yes. If rpms went down quick, then you have problems that a catch can wont fix.

    Might be the oil seal on your supercharger.

    Yes, do the Viton SCer seal. Catch can for sure. More than likely the seal, if your tune is good. Or you have a bad piston or two and getting major blow-by back into the intake tact.

    I lose rpm after being out for a few hours I don't race just a rec rider. Thanks

    If you are loosing rpm that quick then hopefully its just the SC seal. Pull your hose going from the SC to the IC and see what that looks like.

    Im having a supercharger rebuild this week as my ski has now coverd 81hrs I know seasoo say 100hrs but it's the begging of the season and as I was getting the service done so i thought I might aswell get it all done so this might solve my problem ?
