I was under the impression that seadoo no longer made the aluminum housings. I have not ordered 1 from the dealer to verify thou.

Well when I ordered a replacement pump for a gti, they sent an aluminum. When I ordered one for an rxt they sent plastic. Interesting to say the least.

All the new ones will be plastic! I did the same thing and had to send it back. I called Riva and they were able to locate me a new aluminum one through one of their retailers still sitting on a shelf. Good luck!
