    99SLTH fuel tank

should have no cracks around the oil tank mounting nuts ( they all leak there it seems)

I have one from a '96 SLTX....the part numbers don't cross, but they look identical. If you have yours out and want to check some dimensions, it might work.

I think I have one from a 98. Do you have the number on the tank?

My poking around on this one shows there were two tanks used. The "old" tank was replaced with the slightly larger tank +1 USG.

Somebody mentioned tha the number embossed on the tank might not be the same.

This tank has the mounting nuts built into it for the injection oil tank..left side fill...I'll see of I can find any numbers on it without pulling it.

I'll update wit the part number off the partch fictch when I can lookem up again.

I'm not all that keen on replacing tanks..nasty work.

Looks like I have an "old" tank.

    My '96 should be this:
    5432163 TANK,FUEL,14 GAL. Substituted by 5432646

    This is the alternate:
    5432646 TANK,FUEL,15GAL,SLT

If you can't find anything else, it will bolt up....you'll just lose a gallon of fuel capacity.

The issue with the old vs new is that the fuel sender on the new won't work with the old (too long)

in any event, I'll move this discussion to PM's now that the details on tank compatibility have been established

    thanks fellas!
