XPS Kit for servicing 2012 Seadoo

Can someone point me to the XPS kits in the 4tecperformace store? I couldn't find them.

They are fine to use in the 2012 range?

Should I check the spark plug gaps, if so whats the gap?

Did they change the XPS kits slightly at the start of 2011 or something? If so, what was updated? The oil?

Where do you buy yours from?

I don't set the gap. Drop in and go on the plugs.

Thanks, I'll check the gaps just in case they get banged around on their way across the world to Aus.

Ha yeah, makes sense I guess!

I use this oil in my ski as it is for wet clutch applications. If you can get it, it would save you a chunk of change.

Valvoline 10-40 4-tec motorcycle oil. It is for wet clutch applications and is close to SD oil. Works well and is affordable.

Great, this Castrol oil is easier to get in Australia than the Valvoline so I might use this one unless anyone thinks its unsuitable?

Its JASO MA2 certified for wet clutch applications. That's all you need right?

Did you get a Service Light @ 10 hours?
My dealer told me a service light will appear when the 10 hours break will be done.

And yes as long it is JASO MA certified, it will work fine.

No, weirdly I didn't get any service lights at 10hrs. I already had the 10hr service done by the dealer. Now at 22hrs, probably be over 35 by the end of this easter long weekend.

WTF then, he was telling me I will have to bring back the ski @ 10 hours to reset the damn service light...
Otherwise I will do my oil change myself.

    Thanks

Yeah we have same versions and I never got any service light (went to 13hrs before 1st service).

Careful not to void the warranty. I have to take mine in at 10hrs, 100hrs and every 100hrs after to avoid ruining my warranty.

took mine in for its 10 hours service @35 hours..
picked up on friday.. had 12+ hours by sunday afternoon.. monday was a holiday.. had 16 hours monday night..
dealer couldnt fit me in for almost 2 1/2 weeks.. he said if the engine goes for any reason they would replace it and not to worry..
checked the oil every weekend (clean) and level was fine.. no service light EVER lit on the ski..

what did pmo about the dealer is that they charged me full labor to replace the wear ring on the ski (sucked up a few sticks several times)..
when i was complaining about the steering pulling to one side and felt very loose..
they said the 3 pump bolts backed out and 1 was missing.. ( which there is a TSB i found out a week later, and should have been a warranty repair) had no issue paying for the wear ring..
but full labor on the pump removal and replacing of bolts?
they damaged my rub rails all around the area of the IBR , with scuffs and you can tell metal was banged against it. when i brought it to their attention, the service manager said i rubbed a dock, funny how the ski as mint prior to bringing it in and has NEVER even been with-in 20' of a dock..
i refuse to go back there for anything..
