07 Ultra 250 water in oil

My ski did not want to start today. Came up with camshaft position sensor fault. I then realized that my oil was all white. I hade to flush it on a down nose on a pretty steap down hill. Is it possible for the water to get in the oil that way or should I look deaper? The white slush is in all the vent hoses as well.

Unfortunately, you may be at "step 1" of a long road ahead of you. I would get the Ski to a dealer ASAP. And if you have been riding in salt water than get to a dealer faster than ASAP . . . The cause of how that much water got into your engine needs to be diagnosed. The worst case scenario would be the Cracked Head as was mentioned in the Post above.

I took the head to a cylinder head specialist and he has confirmed that it is cracked at one of the studs. Hard to believe so much water can get into the motor thru a crack. He is trying to repair it so we will see.

That's unfortunate. I don't think you can adequately repair a Cracked Head; the best route is a new one or find a good used one. In 2010 there was an upgraded 260 Head that would be ideal for you. I don't think a 300 Head will fit tho. And if you haven't upgraded to at least the 2010 Pump Assembly, now would be a good time to do that while the Ski is down. JB

DONT waste your money it CANT be freapired , as the repair just reopens up when u tension the head bolt done

Many hr and many 100's of dollars have been wasted on this crack situation

Just do your self a favor and buy a 2010 260 head and never worry about it again

    Waz

P.S I hope the engine has not been sitting with the water / oil mix in the engine

Because it WILL be all rusted and fuck.d after a week or so

I did a repair at xmas with the exact same situation

needed anything metal to be replaced as it rusted like shit
