yes, it's back, only problem is that it has a 3gay top deck.
God SeaDoo dumped its best ski ever, I hoped that if they revived it it would be something worth more than the seaweed the typical buyers are gonna stuck up the pump and the logs they're gonna hit.

its a Joke! The XPDI is back in the form of the 06 3D (gay)
The 06 3D is basically a XPDI with a different top deck on it.

At the Club they asked who would like to see it come back, a lot of people raised their hand, we will see.

Not to get into an arguement, but the "Gay" 3D can do everything the XP could do and more. It's not a standup as such, but then neither are the couches that most ride standing, especially on the race course. The super low center of gravity when used in the kneeling position, will make it out corner any XP. Now that it has respectable power it is going to start to win races. The XP was SD's best offering for a race course, the 3D is the same boat, only the "seating" has changed.

Yeah well Richard I love my 2001 XP, and the SEAT is what makes the hull worthy.

11.......A question for you. Have you ever seen ANY racer sitting on the XP seat during a race? Don't they all stand and at most grip the seat with their legs/knees. I think the 3D would be very competitive in the kneeling mode. But time will tell.
