Winter upgrades- STX new paint and jet trim seat cover

I did some upgrades this winter and thought I would post some pictures. I bought this ski last year and didnt really like the red paint and awful red seat cover. A buddy of mine painted the hood black and the seat cover was purchased from jet trim. I have to say Jet trim has great customer service and Kelly was a great help. I also installed a R&D ride plate, K&N style filter. The plate and filter gave me a little more top end and impellar will be next.

Looks sharp, you might look at painting the side fairings and glove box lid, add a little more black on top and make it flow a little better.

Thanks to both of you for the kind words. A little more black on the fairings and glove box lid would look great. This was a free bee from a good friend who was painting his truck the next day. I really couldnt ask him for anything more, but I may do something next winter. Right now I have been enjoying this warm wheather and hitting the lake weekly. Thanks to G/H and the search button this ski has picked up quite a bit and sips fuel.

Good deal. If you want more black and a good cheap and removable solution look for plastidip spray. Its a rubberized arisol coating that goes on really easily, requires no surface prep except wax removal and peels off leaving the surface totally intact.
