    Ff J-plate Tested Orlando Fl.

Previous track record 77.8 last winter triple pipe 1200.

That held untill last month when A- Kent went 77.9 on his 03 4 times back to back to back with J- Plate on. He went 76.9 last Sunday in 84 degree temps.

I installed Jims new plate on my 05 1300. Last time out it went 76.6 with 1/2 of tank of fuel. Temps were the same as today which were in the 80 degree range. My ski went 77.0 with a full tank of fuel and 77.7 with a half tank and 78.0 with a quarter. This is the first time we have hit the 78s with a single pipe ski. My ski has NEVER GONE 77 MILES PER HOUR with a full tank.

Seadoolovers 03 went 75.4 with everything but porting. Duke drove both skis and broke two track records today.

We also put Carls skegless ride plate on my triple and found out that you need skegs going 83 plus because the wind blew the nose all over the place. I tried as hard as I could to keep the handle bars straight but could not. Yet my previous high speed on my single was with the island plate on at 77.4 which beat A-Kent by on tenth that day.

Aubre, if you send your plate to Jim tommorow, you will have it back by Thursday and we will see 79 something next Sunday.

Jim. thank you for the great instructions. By the way My angle which does not matter is higher than it has ever been.

I guess I should knock the dust off my 1200 grate and give it a try.

Mark, you better get you an 800 grate for the Bug, you will need it.

I am trying to juggle some vacation schedules for the Ozarks... hopefully we will see you there.

800 grate is only good for a paper weight.
