    Tweaked Stage 1 RXP

Okay finally got to do some real testing this weekend on my RXP.
    Stock 7960 @ 67
    Stage 1 + Free Flow 7820 @ 69.5 1/3 tank.

Then ride plate filled, Nose cone removed & 2mm from the prop.
    8150-8200 @ 71 1/3 Tank.

I tested with the hatch open and bucket out found no difference.

Crazy acceration now, throttle is very responsive, but expected more top end. Have I taken too much out of the prop?

I was thinking of trying the orginal prop or putting 1mm of pitch back into that 14/19R.

What do you guys suggest? Git to be a way to make this thing hit 72

Do not put the stock prop back on. You will not gain a thing. You will lose if anything.

I dunno man, I had better luck with my stock prop than the 14/19. But that's my ski & not all are different. I got 71.4 mph on the stock prop & intake grate with stg 1 before the cut reverse bucket & holes being filled.

Just try it & see for yourself. Thats the only way to solve it. Take the time & do it & all the "I wonder if" Q's will go away.

I have been researching this site and read that 8200 is the limiter.

My ski does not cut back or anything but something tells me that the prop is now under pitched.I am leaning to pulling the prop and adding pitch.

One thing I noticed is that 8200 comes on fast and like 3 seconds after I hit 8200 the gps shows 69-70-70.5-71 indicating some slip.
    The wearing/impeller clearance is tight.

Do you guys have simular results?

Good numbers for those few mods. Put 1/2 to 1 mm pitch back in the prop. Ideally, you want to see a solid 8100 with occasional flashes of 8150

I was just stating from my experience. I was turning less rpm with the stock prop and could barely break 70mph. Once I threw on the solas 14/19R I got 100RPM back to put me @ 8100 and started hitting 71mph.

I gotta mess around and see where Im losing about 1mph this spring.

get cool air to the supercharger, that will bring up rpms and you can put 1mm back on that 14-19.try diferent setings on trim while testing amazing how finding the sweet spot will get you another .5 on gps do your speed runs half tank or less. bucket out superman head down to block wind.may the force be with you...

Got the pump off for the forth time today, feel like a pro..
Bent the prop 1mm more pitch, don't know how that prop fits, werar ring clearance looks non-exsistent. Going to shave the reverse bucket tommorow. I am not gonna stop till I see at least 73.
Saturday is just toooo far away.
