rgard, it's hard to tell from the blurry pic but it might be the rubber grommet from the front cowl where the cables go through? If it's a hex shape then it might be a through hull nut from the pump area, like the steering cable?

I'd bet on it being a rubber pipe mount.

The one that goes between two of the exhaust manifolds.

I now stuff rags all around the engine cradle and hull area to seal off the black hole while working on my ski's. I have lost spark plugs, sockets, nuts and bolts. They always turn up sooner or later just have to keep checking for them.

If it's the one I'm talking about, you wouldnt even know it exists until you pull the exhaust manifolds out! I'll try and fish up a parts diagram for ya.

I'm thinkin #48 or 49 one of them is a rubber mount. That or from one of the pipe mounts on the expansion chambers.

also should i change the 0-rings on the pipes? they look ok.....but wanted to make sure
