    NA 155 HP Valves

Are the 155 HP valves hollow or solid? I am trying to determine if a 155 HP engine is at risk of valve failure or not???

2003 Seadoo GTX 155 NA, for the year and model they look very clean with no signs of pitting.

Just noticed that the valve number on my valves is different than the one in the "bad valves" thread. Mine is 72523T. The exhaust valves weigh 2 ounces. Still don't really understand if these are prone to failure or not. Can someone weigh a RXP old and new vintage valve for me?

Interstingly as a followup and documentation for others .....

I spoke to Riva this morning to purchase some other parts and they pulled up the part number for my '03 GTX exhaust valves ... the number was not superceeded and the original part number was still accurate. Maybe the older NA 155 valves were actually different from the newer supercharged valves. Some say they are solid stainless and don't have the same "valve drop" failure mode. I have inspected the hottest valves and there is no sign of pitting on the valves that are 8 years old. I just wanted to document here in case it helps someone in th future.
