    timing question

    would you say that this is one tooth off on the timing. also do you tighten the cam bolts after you tighten the tensioner .

    Yes the tensiner must be installed

    so does it look like i am one tooth off with the cam lock in place in the pic

    You must put the gear on but not tighten the bolts,then put tensioner in.
    If you have crank and cam locked, you can't be a tooth off.
    Your timing will be ok,but that doesn't mean your marks on the gear will be aligned.
