Indy, where was this article from? I could not find anything on their website ...

A couple months ago I called them and they said they were developing PWC systems, but were not ready yet. Looks like they might be now, but nothing on their website yet. 3 seater ... that is probably on a STX15F I imagine ...

They had one installed in a STX-15F at Daytona Bike Week last spring. It would be about time they got it production ready.

it's boasting 6.5 psi of boost according to that article... doesn't seem much to me unless they plan on adding 6.5 to the already existing stock boost.... which we know that isn't the case.

Yes 6.5 lbs of boost, but will flow much more volume.
    It's a belt driven supercharger.

Wait for Nils supercharger. Good things are worth waiting for

You can't go much higher on a normally NA engine running pump gas. Boosted engines are best if the compression is no more then 8.5. Depending on the engine you can run 20 psi on pump gas with this compression.
High static compression means better off boost response, lower total boost, lower total power
Low static compression means worse off boost response, much greater total boost, much higher total power.

It is really a ballancing game. DO you want a high HP engine with bad throttle response, or neck snapping throttle response with lower maximum power? Most people try to find a happy medium.

Those skis were setup for acceleration and would hit 75 MPH in 5 seconds
