    DIY'd A 4" Intake For My '12 P-X

    Just Finished it up.

    Parts Used:

    4" SC Inlet Adapter
    4" 90* Silicone Elbow
    9" of 4" Exhaust Pipe
    4" Silicone Coupler, 4" Wide
    4" Aluminum Velocity Stack

    Entire thing Cost Less than $100.

    Finished Product:

    Ummm... Seems this setup will be sucking alot of HOT air..... I think u might be better off with some kanaflex to the front..

    I'm eventually gonna do some Vents as well.

    I had a Similar Setup on my S150, and the Filter was right beside the Exhaust Pipe, and I never had any Hot Air Problems.

    Granted the Engine Compartment was alot Bigger, but I don't think Heat will be an Issue...and if it is, then the IC isn't really doing its Job.

    id extend that with a bit of kanaflex and use a jlewis rear air or eriks guzzler.... both do the same thing with better results because there pulling cold air from outside the engine bay and will run with better results IMO

    The intercooler does it job but does it's job better when you help it with cooler air not just more hot air.

    With a few vents in the seat couling I think it will get plenty of fresh air! I like it!

    He will have better results with it not breathing Hot air... Which this will with or without flo rites.... Its not sticking outside in sucking in outside air.

    I'm kind of surprised nobody is implementing the factory rear vent to fab up a rear air. Yes, I've seen it done, but didn't seem to catch on.
