Lose Inserts - how to repair?

I was taking off my pump shoe on my '99 1200 ltd because the foam strip on back of it had come lose and I think was causing cavitation. In doing so even after losing as easy as I could two of the brass insert because lose inside the hull and I had to grind away the epoxy holding them in and grab with vise grips. Should I heat up the epoxy thats on the insert and get it all off and remove the insert and re-epoxy it back in with 3M 5200? What's the best way to repair these? Thanks

best to get them and the glue out of there, and use the later model 1 piece (per side) inserts

    glue them in with 5200fc

They pop off the hull easy Use a long screwdriver. don't burn it, the fumes are toxic.

Thanks for the help. I may make my own brackets since I have some bars of aluminum, we'll see. Anyone know the thread for the bolts?
