    1997 SPX R.A.V.E valve questions.

    Just took my RAVE valves off the SPX, gave em a good cleaning.

    While I was doing it, I managed to break the plastic thing the rave screws into.
    So instead of waiting for parts to open, I took apart the RAVE from my 1998 Formula 500 sled. Everything fit, look 100% identical except it was tan in color and the stock one was black.

    Big deal?

    Other question was the RAVES were turned all the way in. What does that do? Top end or low end?

    one question...were the bellows red or green? reds are the old ones and greens are new. not a big deal you broke the black cap. get another and call it good. you can buy one here at the on line OEM parts store. enter "greenhulk" for a discount code. Ive turned the rave caps in and out and I cant tell the difference in performance personally
