    Slip on a X sc?

    Hi all,
    just wanted to know what slip should be on px10 X sc?
    about to change oil seal so ill check slip at the same time.....

    You want somewhere around 120-130 in/lbs.

    I would pre-load it to about it to about 140-145 inch lbs..that way when she heats up the slip should fall to around 130/135 inch lbs...

    Lets see, X-Charger = 10 lbs. boost with stock ECU.
    12 lb.in. per 1 lb. boost = 120 in.lb.
    Add 10 in.lb. for wear in = 130 in.lb TOTAL slip.

    However, as Snoman suggested you may wish to add a little up top for the thermal factor. I would rather be a little strong than too weak on the springs and washers.

    Oh and please remind me how to check slip properly again?
    (havent wrenched for a while) i know search?? but im lazy!!

    Mount the supercharger in the mounting tool, hold the gear with the gear tool and using your torque wrench rotate the rear nut clockwise until it slips.
