    Stupid Newbie Winterization Mistakes...

Hello all, I have a 2011 RXT 260 and when I winterized my ski last season I didn't put fuel stabilizer in nor did I fog the engine. Am I screwed??? I have not turned the motor over so what would be your first step in my situation.

You'll be fine. Drain the fuel and put fresh in. Change the oil if you didnt already and charge/replace the battery and go.

Battery is fine, it has been connected to a batter tender. Question, I was going to run what gas was left and then buy the maintenance kit and do that after running this gas through. Would that be ok? Have about a third of a tank in there. Should I fog the motor before starting?

Fuel has a very short shelf life before it stars going bad. I try and run mine as low as possible before storage then suck the rest out in the spring. A third is quite a bit even if mixed with new. I wouldnt do it. Pump it out and put in your car or mower. You could spraw some lube in cylinders, but I have yet to fog a four stroke..EVER. Im sure others will chime in with a different opinion, but I just tore down one of my 04's to upgrade and no issues what so ever.

imho, before you try to drain it, try running it...
if it runs, whats the problem?
if it doesnt then drain it...

im going to start up my skis in afew weeks, at most, my 95gtx coughs afew times, and keeps on going,
the rxp however might not feel "well" at high rpm, but im guessing enough to just take a 5 minute cruise, considering i wasted as much gas i could...

the boat is a different story though... 105L in there... no stabil....

im sure it would run like a champ (it was 91 octane last year xD)

i "never" fogged the engines this year, once in 2 weeks, i gave the engine afew cranks without starting it..

Have fun this season, and remember safety first.
