    rxtx pump shoe onto a rxt

    just need a little advice on better handling for the rxt..these ski is great in the chop but doesnt turn that well and is used for circuit.
    been thinking about installing the rxt pump shoe as there is a wrecked rxtx locally,what is involve and needed to have this setup or would it be better get a pump extension kit and who is still manufacturing this kit?..

    Id do the RXTX mod over pump extension, pump extension tends to be unreliable with breaking drive shafts (and i don't think you can buy a new one anymore)

    The other advantage is you will have a strong plate/grate setup that won't potentially break at 75+mph.

    Im considering it for the fact i don't really want my grate to break when going that quick!

    these hulls wake up and turn alot better as you feed more power to them... a C kit or similar and a 3 blade prop + some decent sponsons make this hull really nice to ride.. still feels like a whale.. but a more nimble "whale"

    a turbo even better!!!

    i like the handling of the rxp and notice there pump sit further out then the rxt....only thing i dont want to change is the grate and ride plate so i was wondering if this can be done, keep my intake grate and ride plate and install a grate girdle with a rxtx pumpshoe?

    Nope, will need grate, plate, shoe, drive shaft etc
