Gotta lock the pump in place and unscrew that large nut counter clock( reverse thread) wise on the end of the shaft (by motor) their is a lot of loctite on it and its a pita if you dont have the correct wrench. believe its a 34mm?

you really should buy the seadoo socket for the driveshaft and box end wrench for the nut.

Ok so if i left pump on and remove cone, get someone to hold the bit in front of the nut that holds bearing and prop in?
(which the earlier pumps dont have) with right tool and then
turn large bolt looking thing inside the hull towards the exhaust it should come lose? will it undo prop or anything else?
and when put back does it need to be torqued back to spec of just by hand with heaps of loctite?
