Use a spackle knife to scrape them off, then find a product called carbo-sol. It's old school dry cleaning solution. It turns the glue into snot. Wipe it all off, then buy the HT with the adhesive allready installed. It is worth the extra $$. Peel and stick. Done.

Just get as much off. Use maybe some goo gone. You will never get it all off just try to get it all and then place the new stuff over. Just did this on a 02 gpr two months ago and no problems. looks great also.

I just did it this weekend. It will take longer than you think. The look after is great.

Crap! I'm not sure if the mat kits come with the adhesive option. Last few ski's I did I just traced the old mats onto sheet stock. That is available with the adhesive. Maybe call them. They do sell direct.

I believe I saw on a site last week the ski-specific kits w/ the adhesive already installed.
