Question Who has broken thier Riva Supercharger Gear Dampener?

Ok so has anyone else broken thier Dampener? Low boost wheel, intercooler with BOV, 2011+ clutch, Yamlube, just under 20hours, ridden hard but not racing? teeth worn and shaft is very loose now

also know of another one broken on a very light similar setup
    any suggestions?

Yes, they are replacing the dampener, just interested to know if anyone else has had an issue? or if someone has an idea about a possible issue in the setup causing this? before we fork out for a new clutch and bigger wheel?

I thought that the new Riva/HKS intermediate gear with the shock dampers in it would prevent this SC gear from breaking the teath off the Sc clutch! Looks like it can still happen even with the new damper gear. I was so hoping this was the cure we were looking for. Guess not! Tommy Jordan

    This is not good.

Tommy, looks like this was just with an ET low boost wheel.

Hopefully this is why they are back ordered. In reality they are being reengineered to fix the problem(s).

PHILIP Not sure that is what wheel he had in there. I found a old post where he sold a ET low boost wheel back in the fall of 2011. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...02#post1821702 see post # 186 Hope he answers my post about which SC Wheel he was using. Tommy Jordan
