    Mooring Lines, etc

Guys I know this is a trivial question so help me out here. I know you guys would know the answer to so here I am!

What is the best mooring line everyone is using to dock their PWCs? I'm sick and tired of messing with a 15' mooring line. I'd really like to find something <5' long with double loops.

I saw some "Dock Buddy" mooring lines on West Marine and they are 4' long for $18. Are these worth the cost? Maybe I'm out of touch but seems expensive. Any cheaper but quality alternatives?

Any advice on how you guys tie your PWCs up temporarily would be helpful. I'm looking for the best method. Thanks in advance!!

Fat Strap bungees with plastic hooks and adjustable length.. Keeps it nice and tight to the dock while I'm parking my truck.. Been working great for years

I've used these in the past: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...classNum=51105

they were OK, always felt a little thin to me, and was a little too short for my needs.

I use I think '12 dock lines from west marine. very strong and just the right length for what i need.

I use the AirHead dock lines. 4 footers stretch to 5 ft. Amazon had them recently for about $7.49 each.

use both a 15foot line, and two of those bungee things, although mine are with hooks at each end.......

depends to where im mooring.. :P
i prefer the 15 foot line as i attach both bow and stern with 1 rope

but when there is only 1 dock cleat onto which to attach to (or worse, no cleats and you have to attach it to the pole)
    i use the bungees..
the waters i ride in are usually calm, so if you end up not attaching it, it wont drift away :P
