    Ready to Buy

Hello, So I am ready to buy a ski and figured I'd ask the experts about which way to go? Any help would be appreciated.

We need more information. Where are you riding? What are you looking for out of your ski? What is your price range? Start with that.

With you giving us basically no information, I'd say go for the VXR

Guy I used to date got me hooked! Now I need to get my own ski! Really don't know much besides I like to ride. All/Any help would be appreciated. He was a fan of Yamaha and suggested I go that route...just want other opinions. Have approx 5k to spend (give or take). Thanks for your time!

Yes, go Yamaha. Get one with a 4 stroke engine; it's always best if you can find one with an extended warranty, then the dealer can transfer it into your name. But sure, you can probably get a clean little Yamaha VX 4 stroke with low hours and a trailer for that price range, here ya go...

An even better option is the Yamaha FX HO 4 stroke, something like this is going to have a smoother ride in rough water...

the Yamaha VXS is right up your alley, but not in the 5k range, and depending on where you live makes a differance too, the VX110 isn't a bad machine and get you into the mid 50s, but i would say your best bet is the VXR/VXS if you want reliable speed !!!!!!!
