'99 XPL oil leak at check valve
Yesterday I installed my new throttle/oil cable and had to move the oil tank around. This morning i was adjusting the oil cable and noticed some oil on the bottom of the hull and traced it to the red check valve on the bottom of the tank. I felt around and was able to twist it ccw and cw. Do those check valves screw in or just pop in? What can cause them to leak?

Ok i guess its not called the check valve on the bottom of the tank......its just an elbow...

Well hell i just put a gallon of intercepter in it a few weeks ago so its gonna be a while until i need to fill it again. The thing is it never leak until after i moved the tank around last night.
