    need help understanding the new EJK fuel controller

    please read this info. im trying to dial 5/6/1/7 and its a bit different from the old style. i understand the first three values,but which one is the 7?
    there is three more settings gb/yb/rb and im lost.
    please help before i set this efi on fire.

    dude... I thought you had the old Riva controller... those settings I gave you are no good with that one

    rich, this is no for me.ive got mine OK.this is for my nephew ski which he has the new one. i will call you today.

    alright since nobody wants to OPEN THEIR MOUTH haha lol. i find out some info and test it out.
    OK OK i will share with all of you. yes im nice i know.hahaha.

    according to bla bla bla EJK. all units come preset to stage 1 the sets are.
    Base Settings: View controller feature and light setting description
    All EJK Controllers already come preset for typical stage 1 modifications!!

    FEATURES: LIGHT SETTINGS:

    GREEN FUEL 2

    YELLOW FUEL 4

    RED FUEL 3.5

    GRN LWR SW PT 6

    YEL LWR SW PT 4

    RED LWR SW PT 5.5



    here is what i did to make that ski run decent.
    GREEN @ 2.5
    YELLOW @ 4.5
    RED @ 0.5
    GREEN/BLUE @ 0.5
    YELLOW/BLUE @ 4
    RED/BLUE @ 5.5

    oh i forgot.
    the ski has ....
    150 psi heads
    reed stuffers
    4 degree key
    free flow exhaust
    and k&n air filter.

    Mike, I realize it was your nephews ski and this thread is old..Wondering if it's still using a similar setting.

    I just bought the same EJK 9530005 controller and looking for input.

    The initial Green/blue setting seems bizarre, so high. Maybe it's for a power-valve motor, which my kid's is not...

    I think I'll wind up with similar... Parts that are going in.

    2007 GP1300R. 75hrs, D-plate, PPK, R&D1200 grate, R&D1300plate, all are currently installed. ~65/[email protected]

    Adding , lowell 150psi head, Solas DF14/20, New WSM plastic wear ring kit, also have a 2001 GPR 87mm nozzle I can use if needed.

    Lowell said the EFI is mainly needed for the "well known" lean cruising.

    Thoughts?

    you will needed , this was a pv engine , we ended using those setting w/o any problem. in your case just lower the red to .5 you dont need any more fuel a wot.

    Thanks Mike, that was fast! We're especially trying to have it hit harder on the bottom and of coarse everyone likes top end numbers...

    Given no PV, and lacking the induction, exhaust mods and keyway mods of your Nephews ski, any guesses where changes might be helpful?

    well it all depends how much money you want to dump into the project , ill said go one step at time ,do the head /efi /prop combo and test.
    imo you will be needing a true 14/21 solas . i believed 14/20 is going to be a bit small.

    Thanks again!

    I'm not talking Mod "changes". He's already maxed out my dough!

    I was referring to "EFI changes from your findings", given that my kid's ski doesn't have PV's, keyway, stuffers, FF,K&N like the ski you setup.

    Followup/results

    1st off. The EJK controller was incorrectly wired from the EJK factory. Set off a throttle error code and limp mode.

    Spoke to EJK tech, who were very nice...the controller splice, did not hit identical pins. Pin 2 and 3 on male side, got miswired to pin 3 and 2 on other side.

    Switched the EJK wires(I glued/butt connected) and all was fixed.

    It helped that I have the factory Yamaha software, so I could identify to Tech, which 2 readings were wacky.

    I have the ski running decent. I'm sure I can tweak it more. Only have 1 hr testing and getting dark. Once I had it running decent(started as a dog even with .5red)...

    I used a digital tach to ensure I was getting led colors during the GPR's notorious lean area ~4-5600

    Settings..that I kinda stumbled on. FWIW, the switch point settings are VERY variable. I can still get Green at 5500rpm if cruising, which maybe should have switched off. I can also get yellow @5500 if I'm hard on the throttle.

    Green @3, Green/Blue @4
    Yellow @2.5, Yellow/Blue @4
    Red @.5, Red/Blue @6
    adding 1/2 ounce/gallon gas Klotz Skicraft + stock oil injection

    ski 2007 GP1300r
    EJK EFI controller
    150 psi head
    d-plate( not known which one)
    R&D 1200 grate
    R&D 1300 plate, ground bosses/pump bottom
    PPK
    Solas DF 14/20
    2000 GPR 87mm nozzle
    Stock oil injection + 1/2oz/gallon extra Klotz skicraft

    250 lb rider, sea level, neutral trim, freshwater, 66.5mph at 7080,excellent hole-shot and pull.
