stock prop vs. solas RPM queston ?
Sorry to start another solas thread, just want a plain and simple answer to a question. With stock ski and scom I am just cracking 8,000 rpm's, 8,100 this past weekend, even in the dead of summer with hight humidity and high heat I am in the 7,950 range. I would like to bring these rpm's down to the peak torque and hp range of ~ 7,800. I saw in the other thread the stock prop is 13-21 ???? and that the solas 14-21, but brings the rpm's down to a more manageable level of ~ 7,800, is this correct ?? Thanks Chris

Yes the RPM with the Sloas will be down about 100-150 .. It will be closer to the 7800 range !
