Matrix XF Pro + SS846 Xscream Surf Ski
So I'm out in the garage, changing the prop on my blue ski, cleaning it up and getting it ready for its first outing this year when I look over in the corner and see its half-turfed little brother collecting dust. The build's been dragging on for almost 2 years - I bought the hull in August of 2010. I'm content with my blue one, so I figured it was time to put the red one up for sale to someone who might actually put it in the water and ride it?
Here's a link to the build thread: http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?...rix-Surf-Build
Matrix XF Hull - bought slightly used, stripped and refinished in House of Kolor Red II Glamour Metallic with Black Metallic accents. Paint is a duplicate of the scheme used on my blue one.
144mm mag pump - setback, 14/19, dual cooling, complete with Thrust EZ-Pull trim system. Painted black.
RRP Steering setup, black tubes, fat bars, ODI grips... replica of the stuff that I have on mine, again - but used the Blowsion billet bracket for the bilge switch 'cause I hated fumbling for mine all the time
Xscream-built 846SS (run for 2 minutes on the stand)
MSD Total Loss (set up by xscream, their custom mounting plate, tuned for avgas but i have the settings for 93)
Full Spectrum 46 carbs (setup by Xscream)
R&D epoxy filled, ported and matched intake with vforce delta 2 reeds (chuck made it as good as their boysen set up)
Factory b-pipe, ceramic coated and modified by xscream (port-matching, boring out the headpipe)
Worx 205 + stock 08+ ride plate
Dual 500gph Bilge Pumps, blowsion bracket
All sorts of the little OCD things are done - thrust internal fill, plug wire keepers, turfed rails, shaped padding under turf, new battery, color-matched fuel lines, black billet everything.
NEVER IN THE WATER. I fired it up once on the stand, then put it away - the engine's got all of 2 minutes on it.
I just don't think I'm going to get out to ride in the surf, so I've not got much interest in it. I could throw it in the lake, but I'd rather ride the 1000 there.
What needs to be finished: turf - I have it, I such at the sides of the tray.
Priced reasonably at $16,500. Prefer regional sale.
