    waterbox question

Ok so last fall I winterized my 06 RXP. I hooked a hose to the flush port and poured cooaltn down it until it came out the exhuast hole to ensure all the water was out and it didnt frezze. My question is I got my skis and on the 06 RXP i am doing some mods and one is the through hull exhuast. When i remove the factory exhuast cross over pipe my waterbox was full of the coolant i poured in there. Is this normal and thats why its called a water box? Also should i suck it all out with my fluid evacuator or just leave it? thanks alot guys for all your help

That's perfectly normal. What kind of coolant did you use? Might as well suck as much out as you can so you don't make a mess with it when you go to start the ski

Usually when you run the ski on the hose you start ski, then turn the water on, then turn water off, rev ski a couple of times to blow the water out of the water box to dry it out then turn the ski off, cooling water goes thru the wet exhaust to cool and quiet everyting, antifreeze is some nasty stuff for cats and dogs its poison,

I actaully sued a anti freeze for RV's so its enviromentaly safe and is not poison. It meant to be used it drinking water lines of RV's then flushed out so it cant hurt anything. But good to know that its normal and just to suck it all out. Thanks for the info guys
