    No spark after WOT. won't start

    Engine runs good at the house; battery brand new (15volts, 13.5 cranking) new CDI.

    After giving her full throttle she just dies loses all spark. The starter bogs, won't turn like she has no juice, then give it a few seconds shell turn over but won't start. She's getting fuel, just no spark like the computer says no more fun for you.

    Think it's the stator? It's a bitch to change it on my ski.

    Had to swim 1/2 mile to shore, drag it on the beach, hike through tall grass and stickerbushes, get the highway no one want to help me, its 6pm starting to get cold and dark, I run to the nearest anything with is Captree boat basin 2 miles away, EMT picks me up and takes me to my truck call Sea tow, to shallow for him to get to my ski, I huff 750 feet of anchor line to the ski, she's stuck on land full of water - manual bildge worked as I pushed, I muscle her off the beach to deeper waters, seatow is stuck as the tide went down, I push him off after walking back 750ft, tows me back yeah. New battery she fires right up again. Check double check all electrical, looks good. Take her out today, same shit, this time I swam her back myself didn't go to far till it crapper out AGAIN. having a beer on my tailgate licking my wounds.

    HELP...

    The stator might be the issue. It probably got hot and crapped out on you. Did you crank for awhile to try to restart it? I bet you drained the battery enough to be under the 10.6 volts. Then when you put second battery in the stator was cold again.

    Could it also be a bad LR module in combination with the stator causing a lack of charging of the battery?

    LR module?

    I am thinking it the stator but now its running like shite. I hope I didnt blow a ring or something but Im thinking it would still fire.

    The new battery did not get below 13v when I was attempting to start her.

    Anyone have a trick to replacing the stator without pulling the engine?

    Just pull the engine....its not that hard to do...

    The 4 long bolts that are hold the jet pump where the prop lives wont come out. I am afraid to snap them. Any one got a trick to loosen them?

    Any secrets to pulling the engine easily?

    warm up the area they go in with alittle propane torch but be carefull
