They all work. I use both sticky and suction cup mount
But since u got the surf edition u will need to buy ether the sticky mounts or suction cup mount surf edition is only good if u surf

There are some sticky mounts in the box, not sure if they're ok to use so I figured I'd ask which was best. So the suction cup is ok to use on a ski? I thought they said it's not reccomended for high impact use. I'm kind of a rough out on the ski so I wasnt sure it would hold up.
This is the mount that came in the box....

i am not sure how much I would trust the suction cup to stay on. I am sure it would work but i might throw a couple piece of duct tape on it or something for some added insurance.

I got the motorsports one, suck cup stays on great. I tie a rope on mine just in case, rope tied to gopro then big knot on other end and close hood with knot inside or back seat.

Sticky mounts work fine too. But, once they're stuck, they're very difficult to remove. Same precautions apply with the floaties and a lanyard. There is at least 1 Go Pro HD on the bottom of Lake Havasu. Sticky mount on the hood, big wave hit the boat, broke the camera off where it mounts to the sticky mount. Wasn't mine, but I wanted the footage off of it......

Thanks guys! I went and picked up the suction cup mount and some string to tie it off with like mentioned above. Seemed to hold up just fine today and I feel better not having to put sticky mounts on the ski

I have taken a piece of a fun noodle and made a wrap around piece and have a tether on it also if I have a place to tie it off......I tested the float ability and it worked, Ill take and post some pics tomorrow......
