    MSX 150 injector problem?

    Hello,

got a problem with my msx 150. I took it out on the water this morning for the first run after rebuilt, started up fine and ran good. Took it up after about 20 mins, got home and flushed it with freshwater. Then I did the oil change with the ignition coils and injectors disconnected and cranked to get the oil out, filled some new oil in it and connected the coils and injectors.

Here is the problem, after all that it refuses to start. Ive got pressure in fuel rail but the spark plugs are dry, seems like the injectors wont open. I have checked all fuses and the connectors seems good.

    Anyone got some ideas?

    Thanks

Now Ive done some measurement. The signal cables from ECU to the injectors are both close to 0 Ω. And on the + wires from main relay to the injectors there is 9,5 volts when cranking. Do someone know if the injectors need 12 volts to operate at all?

Battery needs charging, the cranking voltage is too low to allow operation of the coils or injectors. Pull the plugs next time and your engine will spin faster and put less strain on the battery and starter.

    +1.

ive fitted a 30amp battery. as if cranking volts drop, it wont power coils.

as youve cranked engine to pump oil in sump you battery is prob abit weak.

Yeah, the battery was the problem.
But the coils where still working, good sparks on both plugs so I was a little bit confused for a moment. Well, its up and running again so its good for now!

    Thanks for the answers
