Thats exactly why 1200 stuff is hard to find. Those of us that have it don't want to part with it....

    Yeah... I would too!!!!
I wish I was in the jet ski game when polaris was still in the ski biz and performance parts were still produced. My friends trying to get me to buy his gp1300r for dirt cheap cause he just got a sweet boat and wants the gp to be taken care of when he lets it go; im tempted cause it runs great, performance stuff is less rare, and seems theres lots you can do w/ them. But idk, im a polaris man and really dont want to switch sides(might just add it to the fleet...but keep it hidden from the ball n chain/had to sleep in the mancave a few nights when i added the 01slx during the winter). I love my slx's!
I figure if I cant find stuff now, I'll just rock 'em for the summer and hope I can find some stuff next winter......but if anybody stumbles onto something, particularly a 1 piece polaris racing head, keep me in mind

The head won't make it any faster, its just a cover. Its not really necessary unless you have triple pipes.

    I know that....
polaris racing head cover has slightly larger cooling passages over stock and the hot seat covers, per castic's comparisons when i was trying to get the one he was selling (somebody beat me to it tho) I plan to eventually have triple pipes on it, and it just looks cool.

not going to make ant difference in the cooling,i had to clearance both of mine to clear the dome girdles with hot seat domes and the stock covers cleared just fine.its just needed to tie the jugs together when the one piece exhaust manifold is removed

do you know if there are any fit issues with stock domes that are shaved down and the covers? Really the main reason for wanting the 1 piece is for when i eventually triple pipe it for connecting the jugs, and the cool factor of the look. Just remembered castic sayin the cooling passages looked bigger on the polaris racing head vs the hot seat, im sure they are probably about the same. Either would be nice, just liked the look of the blk polaris one a little better. I remember seeing a pic of your(TX) pro1200 inside with it and liked how it looked.
