    ebay block guard

    im in the process off gathering all my parts for a engine overhaul with cp piston. wondering if any 1 has purchased and used this block guard?
    how is the fitment and quality..

    That's a PPG unit.

    Personally I would pick one up from elsewhere. This is just my opinion, nothing else.

    Nope, and many don't. Jury is still out for me. If I did install one I would deck the block after install at the very least. Maybe even consider having it welded in.

    What rpm are you planning to run?

    Those block guards are all made by the same person in a shop in orlando... Just throwin that out there...

    will be running the oversize pistons 9.5 comp so far its turning 8700,so im thinking running a block guard as a lil security and a piece of mind.

    I am using this block goArd on my ski I run my ski 9800 rpm with close to 30 pounds of boost and I've never had an issue with it

    And yes there all made by one person

    Wow, I knew some were the same as others but did not know the one in the GH store is the same as the PPG one. Just make sure you install it before you get the machine work done on the block.
